Ranking of "THE 4400" Season One (2004) Episodes

Season One (2004) of the USA Network's series, "THE 4400" only featured five episodes. Because of this, I had decided to rank the five episodes from my favorite to least favorite. Created by René Echevarria and Scott Peters, the series starred Joel Gretsch and Jacqueline McKenzie:

RANKING OF "THE 4400" SEASON ONE (2004) EPISODES

1 - 1.01 Pilot

1. (1.01) "Pilot" - When a comet suddenly lands on Earth, it delivers 4,400 people who were assumed to be dead or missing over the past 58 years at Highland Beach, near Seattle, Washington. And none of them have aged a day or have any memories since their disappearance. The National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC), a division of the Department of Homeland Security, is in charge of dealing with the return of the 4400.

2 - 1.04 Trial By Fire

2. (1.04) "Trial By Fire" - Several 4400s are killed during anti-4400 terrorist bombings, and NTAC Agents Tom Baldwin and Diana Skouris must race to stop the perpetrators. Tom's son, Kyle Baldwin, begins to exhibit strange behavior and begins to understand what is wrong with him.

3 - 1.05 White Light

3. (1.05) "White Light" - In the season finale, Tom and Diana break Kyle out of NTAC quarantine and head to Highland Beach. In a virtual reality with Kyle, Tom learns where the 4400 were taken, who took them, and why. Meanwhile 4400 returnees Richard Tyler and Lily Moore Tyler become aware of fellow 4400 Jordan Collier's interest in their unborn child and decide to leave his gated community for the returnees.

4 - 1.03 Becoming

4. (1.03) "Becoming" - Tom and Diana investigate 4400 returnee Oliver Knox, who is using his ability of suggestion to influence men to murder women. Also, a list of 4400s is leaked to the public and Kyle awakens from his coma after his cousin, 4400 returnee Shawn Farrell, uses his ability on him.

5 - 1.02 The New and Improved Carl Morrissey

5. (1.02) "The New and Improved Carl Morrissey" - Tom and Diana investigate Carl Morrissey, a 4400, who is using his ability to single-handledly fight crime in his neighborhood. Lily is arrested when she attempts to see her daughter and Diana takes home 4400 returnee Maia Rutledge from the NTAC quarantine.
