I was able to witness this movie; it was great. The characters really did an excellent role and those were impressive. The concept of the story is inspirational that many viewers were inspired.

I just watched this for the first time in many years, and I am thrilled by how well it passes the test of time, and what a good movie adaptation it is. They added a few scenes, but it's remarkably faithful- particularly Timothy Dalton's portrayal of Mr. Rochester.

I happened to watch this fantastic series about 10-15 years ago, when it was put on a loop-broadcast on tv. In the meantime I've had the opportunity to watch all film versions ever done based on this truly enchanting book. And with all due respect and credit to all the other brilliant adaptations, this one is by far the MOST BRILLIANT, MOST MAGICAL, MOST HYPNOTIZING, MOST MOST MOST ON ANY PARAMETERR any film is to be judged upon: faithfullness to the origin in BOTH speech and spirit, acting which is SUPERB, decoration, custumes, music; Once in a while, when I get "homesick", haha, I return to this not first viewed but best loved version of the eterner heart conquering personal growth of Jane Eyre....Don't go.......RUN!!!!!

I've flicked through a lot of adaptations, but this was the first i ever saw when I was about 7 yearhs old, and watching in on Tvm along with my grabdmother. I remain faithful to this version, both actors are the most sutable and they did a wonderful job..I wish I could express fully my love for this particular film , for this particular version, and my gratitude to the actors for the work they did...And the book is my favourite, too, and nothing will ever compare to it..
